Interesting Story
Took a few years off competing after college, having had back-to-back stress fractures. Very slowly I got back into the sport with some help from local friends in Rhode Island, where got I dropped in many workouts for a while! Shout out to Annmarie, Maddy, and Rachel for letting me join in their workouts and hang on for as long as I could. I started to take training more seriously in early 2022 but, again, had to take a step back due to recurring tonsil infections that ended with them being removed. After that, I strung together a few weeks of training and then got Lyme disease in June 2022, marking almost 5 years of not being able to string together more than 12 weeks of consistent training. I decided to sign up for CIM and give training one more shot. I told myself if I couldn't get through this block healthy it was time to reconsider putting time and effort into this sport. Thankfully, I was able to put together a sold training block and have a great marathon debut at CIM!

Favorite Running Memory
Winning cross country Southeast Regionals at William and Mary in 2014 as a team. As a naive freshman, I truly had no idea how big a deal it was for a smaller school like William and Mary to win this and compete with the best schools in the country. It was the only time in the school's history that the women's team had won the region.
