Orlando will be abuzz with energy, cheering on our nation’s best runners as they chase their dreams and strive for a coveted spot on Team USA. With this tremendous honor comes the responsibility of warmly welcoming athletes and visitors to The City Beautiful. Our spirited and vibrant community will surely make this an event to remember.

The 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Marathon will start and finish in the heart of downtown Orlando, near Lake Eola Park. Athletes will run one 2.2-mile loop through the streets of Orlando’s downtown business district, then shift to three 8-mile loops to the Milk District and back. This lightning-fast, flat route includes straightaways along tree-lined streets, where athletes will enjoy several miles with very few turns.

What to see

The route features many historic Orlando landmarks as well as a cluster of its most architecturally diverse residential neighborhoods. The course passes through business and residential neighborhoods that include Orlando City Hall and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. As race day draws closer, a list of all prime spectator locations will be available.

The 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Marathon will run simultaneously with a 10-minute staggered start.
Men's Start: 10:10 a.m. EST
Women's Start: 10:20 a.m. EST

By 12:10 p.m. runners will start streaming across the finish line on Rosalind Avenue in front of the Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park. The top three male and female finishers from the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon in Orlando will qualify to represent Team USA in the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
