Interesting Story
After the 2020 Trials, I moved from Virginia to Colorado and tried to retire and become a ski bum. After taking a job at a ski shop (where I still work today) and skiing about 40 days that first season, I still couldn't get rid of the competitive fire. I returned to the sport in the spring of 2021 with a renewed love of the process and started to have more fun in the sport than I had in years. That led into a very fun and fulfilling 3 years since then, culminating in this race. I still ski (to my coach's chagrin), but striking that balance has been super fun.
