Career Highlights
2019 NCAA All-American in the 10,000m; member of 2019 NCAA Champion cross country Team member at BYU; 4-time NCAA West Regional Cross Country qualifier; professional triathlete
Family
Married for three years with an 8-month-old named Miles. Dad inspired me to get into running by competing in the Boston Marathon twice when I was in middle school and high school. He also competed in two Ironman World Championships in Hawaii and is a 4-time Ironman finisher.
Greatest Accomplishment
Marrying my wife, Hannah, and having our son Miles is the greatest accomplishment so far in my life. Being a part of the one and only National Championship Cross Country team at BYU is also one of my great accomplishments.
Interesting Story
I almost gave up running after college but decided to try and get into the Olympic Marathon Trials right after I graduated. I used that race as my make-or-break moment in running and I qualified for the Trials on my first attempt, at Grandma's Marathon. I'm now working a full-time corporate job that demands a lot of my time and attention along with trying to be a great father to my newborn son. I am also a professional triathlete and hope to compete in many Half Ironman and Ironman distance events later in 2024 (if I don't qualify for the Olympics, in the marathon).I eventually want to leave my corporate job and focus full-time on pursuing my dream of being a professional endurance athlete whether that is in the marathon or triathlon.

“Don’t expect to be motivated every day to get out there and make things happen. You won’t be. Don’t count on motivation. Count on discipline.” - Jocko Willink
Favorite Running Memory
Winning the 2019 NCAA Cross Country Championships at BYU. I will never forget being a part of that team and the camaraderie I still feel with all of those teammates, coaches and training staff.
