Career Highlights
3-time Olympic Trials qualifier; 8th, 2012 USATF Indoor Championships 3000m; 8th, 2014 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon; 5-time NCAA D III All-American; 2nd, 2009 NCAA D III Championships, 5000m.
Family
My wife, Stef, also runs marathons competitively for the BAA. Our daughter (Olive) is 6. She is not so interested in running, but loves gymnastics and spends a large percentage of her time upside down.
Greatest Accomplishment
In running, I am proud of my consistency over the last two decades. As one example, I have run under 15:00 in the 5K for 17 consecutive years. Outside of running, making it through the slog of a PhD program is an accomplishment!
Interesting Story
Despite living in a city with a wealth of running routes, I do the majority of my workouts on a 0.73-mile loop around Harvard Stadium. I also raced a marathon around a 200m indoor track (~211 laps).

My first Boston Marathon (2014). The history and fan support along the entire course is unparalleled in my opinion.
