My wife, Tracy, and I have a 1.5 year old daughter, Greta. We are both from the East Coast and moved to Colorado for the outdoors access. My brother, Kyle, lives in Naples, FL, and sister, Carly, in Seattle, WA. My parents recently moved to Longmont after Hurricane Ian destroyed their home in Naples in September 2022. Although it was a difficult year for them and many others it has been really special for Greta to be close to her grandparents.

Balancing the different aspects of life over the past five or so years and really enjoying it all. Reflecting back on my running journey since high school (2001!), I think these last few years of marathon training and racing have been a really special culmination of all the miles, people and places along the way. In the same time frame, Tracy and I were married, Greta was born and we built the foundation of our future together. In 2021 I started Boulder Run Physio, a physical therapy clinic specializing in helping runners. The clinic has grown and I have a great team around me to help our amazing patients pursue their goals.

In my senior year high school state track meet, I broke my Dad's 25-year-old school record in the 3,200m. That will always be pretty special as my mom and dad have always been so supportive. Otherwise, seeing my wife Tracy at the finish of my first marathon, CIM 2018, when I qualified for the 2020 Trials in 2:17. It was one of those special days when everything came together.
