Family
My husband's name is Brian Tabb, and we welcomed our daughter, Kalliopi, into the world on September 3, 2023. She will be 5 months old on race day. My husband ran track at the University of Tulsa, and we met through the running world in Boston, where I formerly competed for the Boston Athletic Association.
Greatest Accomplishment
My #1 accomplishment was deciding that I wanted to become a teacher while also running competitively. I was able to prove to myself that I could have two passions and focus on them both successfully. My teaching career has already brought so much joy to my life, and I love getting to see my students everyday and watch them grow and challenge themselves. It is a source of inspiration for me. Now that I have my daughter, I cannot wait to watch her experience the world and teach her that she can accomplish way more than she might think.
Interesting Story
The Trials will be exactly 5 months (to the day!) from when I gave birth to my daughter. It has been very challenging to get my body ready for the race but also incredible to see the progress each week. I've had to have grace, patience and trust during this time, since this was all new for me - trust that I could build back my fitness without rushing the process and overdoing it, and trust that I will be able to race a marathon when the buildup looks very different than my previous marathon buildups. It is a true honor to qualify for this race and be healthy and fit to race with my husband, daughter and parents on the sidelines.

Favorite Running Memory
My favorite running memory is going to altitude training camps with my teammates in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This is my favorite place to run, and we've spent many months out there chasing our dreams together. There is nothing quite like it!
