Family
My father is an attorney in Greenville, SC. I have two younger brothers who live in the area and a sister who is about to go to college next year. My mother has been a stay-at-home mom and has helped support all of us through the years with school and our athletic/other accomplishments. I have a girlfriend who teaches and a 1.5-year-old Bernedoodle we spend a lot of time with.
Greatest Accomplishment
The most special accomplishment for me was breaking 4 minutes in the mile. After college I was running alone, had a PR of 4:07 and I put in a lot of hard work and in one year was able to accomplish this goal. It was hard to be allowed in the races where I would be able to lay back and run a time to qualify but I finally got the opportunity at Sir Walter Miler in 2019. This was always a dream of mine growing up through high school.
Favorite Book

I like the Author Agatha Christie and works similar to her stories

Favorite TV Show/Series

Favorite Song

I do not listen to music when I run

Favorite Post-race Indulgence

Getting a large breakfast and coffee

Favorite Breakfast

A large breakfast after a long run: Eggs, Toast, Grits, Bacon, Pancakes ...

Favorite Running Memory
Breaking 4 minutes in the mile and also qualifying for the Trials in the steeplechase in 2021. Both of those nights were amazing and it meant a lot to share those moments with the people that supported me who were there or at home.
