Family
I'm fortunate to have parents that have made it a point to be at every possible sporting event since I was a kid, all the way through my college running and after. My two brothers, Dallas and Sean, have been supportive of my running as well and were always a competitive force in my life as we played outside a lot and even competed in video games. My training group with Lane Zero Athletics Club is a lot like family, as we meet up before our 9-5s and run together most days of the week, as a way to socialize while we help each other get fitter.
Greatest Accomplishment
I think I'm the most proud of the community I've helped to build in the San Diego area. Thousands of runners that are interconnected within the area across all levels of running ability and discipline.
Interesting Story
Over the better part of the four years between the 2020 Trials and now, I was plagued with one injury after another, from foot metatarsalgia to sciatica to hip/glute issues. Thanks to the guys at Ascension Performance, I'm back and as strong as ever. In the single attempt since getting healthy, I jogged an OTQ with a month to spare before the deadline.

Favorite Running Memory
First time I hit an OTQ after deciding to run this marathon just three months prior. Had a short build-up and crushed the qualifier. Re-establishing myself as a national contender. It brought me so much gratitude for the support system I have and is a memory I look back to, even now.
