Career Highlights
I was team captain of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville women's cross country team, in both my junior and senior years. Post-collegiate, I won the Disney Half Marathon in 2023. In addition, I won the Carmel Marathon in 2022 as well as placing second in 2023 which qualified me for the US Olympic Trials.
Family
I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and went to a small private school where both my parents worked. My father, David, who is now retired was the Athletic Director as well as the football coach. My mother, Lyn, ran cross country and track in high school and has always supported me in my running career. I have one sister, Devon, who played Division 1 soccer at American University where she met her husband Blake who was an All-American wrestler. Both my aunts ran collegiately one at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and the other at University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
Greatest Accomplishment
I believe my number one accomplishment in my life to this day has been qualifying for this years Olympic Trials. It has been a lifetime dream to qualify!
Interesting Story
After graduating college in 2019 my goal was to continue my athletic adventures and qualify for the 2020 Olympic Trials in the marathon. I came up short my first marathon missing the qualifying time. When the new standard was announced I again wanted to follow my dream of participating in the trials. My next marathon I ran 2:39 which again fell sort of the standard. Being so close I once again attempted another marathon that fall which lead me to another unsuccessful attempt then in the spring of 2023 I ran the Carmel Marathon and reached my goal of qualifying for the US Olympic Trials.

Favorite Running Memory
I believe my favorite running memory has to be from my 2023 marathon, where I qualified for the Olympic Trials. It has always been a dream of mine to be able to be part of this special race, and seeing that dream come true is and will always be one of my favorite memories.
