I’ve been married for a year to my husband Reggie! We meet during Covid through athletes in action which is a Christian organization that provides services for student athletes on college campuses. I enjoy spending time with my niece and nephews! However my favorite thing is meeting up with the women at church and doing bibles study or being apart of our marriage group. I love getting coffee with women from my church and asking them questions about their life experiences! I also spend a lot of time calling my two favorites Linsey , my college mentor, and my closest friend Kelsey.

Before I ran in Spain with one of my teamates I had to get unexpected appendix surgery. This left me with 5 weeks left to train. I spent a lot of time just knowing that in order to finish this race I was going to have to race by the Lords will not my own. I feel like the Lors often reminds me when I depend to much on my workouts or abilities I’m losing focus on the main thing. So with a gentle nudge he reminds me of the gift he has given me and that I need to remember he is my story.

Watching Reggie (my husband) race his first road mile and running a 4:35!!! Also racing Houston with my teamates and getting to celebrate multiple personal bests!
