Top American finisher at 2022 TCS London Marathon (17th)
Family
No children, but I'm a very present uncle, brother, son and friend.
Greatest Accomplishment
I'm most proud of some of the introspective work I've done over the past few years that has led to a better understanding of self and a restored love for running and competing after a 10-year hiatus.
Interesting Story
After competing in college and for a year post-collegiately, I had become jaded with the sport. It was the sole way I defined my identity, a self-imposed pressure that proved too great for me to uphold. I stopped running almost completely for 10 years, despite working in the industry for several of the major footwear and apparel brands (I have been at New Balance for the past 6.5 years). I returned to the sport when I decided to run my first marathon. In training, I discovered a new relationship with running that was focused on love for the process, all that the sport gives to me (patience, presence, gratitude), and less about results. In reframing my mindset, I won that marathon, and have been competitively running ever since.

Favorite Running Memory
