35th; 2023 Boston Marathon in 2:36; 7th, 2023 Philadelphia Half Marathon

I was working at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta during the 2020 Trials. I remember looking out the window from my unit and watching the runners pass by, feeling so inspired and motivated. The idea of making it to the Trials seemed nearly impossible then since my PR was 2:59. With some shift in training and mindset, I was able to run a 23-minute PR OTQ at the 2023 Boston Marathon. Now, four years later, I get to compete with some of the best runners in the nation, and I'm grateful for the opportunity!
