Interesting Story
After having Achilles tendon surgery, I was out of competitive running for nearly two years. During my recovery, I did not think I could run competitively again. With the encouragement of some great friends and teammates, I slowly returned. I made it a personal goal while returning to qualify for the 2024 Trials, a goal I have had since I started running competitively in high school.
