Family
My fiancée is Lia Thompson. My sister, Nadia, has a PhD in chemistry, and my brother, Erick, is a senior on the cross country team at the U.S. Military Academy. My father, Frank, wrestled in high school and my mother, Diana, provided support during my training camp in Houston in the lead-up to the race.
Greatest Accomplishment

Interesting Story
I started running in 5th grade when my elementary school crush signed up for the track team. While that relationship didn't work out (we remained friends), it was the start of my love for running.
