Family
My father is Kulwinder Singh and my mother is Kamaljeet Kaur. My brothers are Amrit Boyal and Simranjit Boyal.
Greatest Accomplishment
I’m most proud of how, after not making the Cal Poly team my first year, I had to grind. My sophomore year, I didn’t make the team again until my club coach requested the head coach give me a chance. I never looked back once given the opportunity. I worked my way up, over the course of time, to become the best athlete on the team and in the Big West Conference.
Interesting Story
I’ve qualified for two Trials, the second time after nearly a year off until I found love for the sport again while coaching high school. And perhaps I drew that inspiration from my team of only six girls who did so well; they all got to go to States for the first time in school and city history.
