I have a Husky who runs 2-4 miles with me occasionally. He sprints the beginning of the run and then loses steam for the second half. We're working on the concept of pacing.
Interesting Story
I qualified for the 2020 Trials but had to pull out of the race due to injury a few weeks out. I am really looking forward to being able to toe the line this time around.

Favorite Running Memory
When I finished the TCS New York City Marathon in 2022, I was escorted to the elite athlete tent and my boyfriend, Taylor, met me in there a few minutes later. He does have some pretty good negotiating skills but I couldn't believe he got past all the security. I later found out some people saw him holding a dozen roses for me and said "This guy is going to propose! Let him back!" It wasn't a proposal but it was a really great surprise to have him there.
